Åcon is a convention organized by the fans, for the fans, and paid for by the participants by purchasing a membership for the convention. A membership gives you entrance to the convention and its programming, and a great opportunity to meet and mingle with other fans. The convention is capped at 100 members (due to the size limitation of our programming space).
The dates for Åcon 14 are 14.-17.5.2026.
How to become a member of Åcon 14?
Start by filling in the member registration form. This asks for all the basic convention information (badge name, how to reach you etc.). Please fill in a separate form for each person attending.
After submitting the form, you will receive two e-mails: a confirmation and an invoice to the e-mail address you gave in the membership form. (The invoices are sent manually, so it may take a few days.) Due to the banking system, the information in the invoice is in Finnish, but here’s a translation:
Lasku nro = Invoice number
Laskun päiväys = Invoice date (day.month.year)
Eräpäivä = Invoice due date (day.month.year)
Maksaja = Payer name
Saaja = Recipient/Payee name
Tilinumero = Bank account number (IBAN)
Summa = Amount
Viitenumero = Reference number
Virtuaaliviivakoodi = Virtual bar code
The parts you will need to fill in while paying are:
Due date = see the invoice, or pay immediately
Payer = you
Recipient/Payee = Åcon
Bank account number – given in the invoice
Amount = 30 €
Reference number – this is very important, as we’ll need to be able to connect the payments to the members.
If you use the virtual bar code, it should fill in all the information automatically, except for the Recipient/Payee.
The account number works from outside of Finland as well. The BIC code is: AABAFI22.
If, when paying, you get a message saying the account recipient cannot be confirmed, confirm it anyway. This may also happen when paying from Finnish accounts, but the payments still go through. Our bank account doesn’t support automatic recipient name confirmation, so you may need to confirm it manually.
Due to the system, you’ll need to fill in the form and pay for the membership individually for each person, so it’s a bit more of a hassle than previously, unfortunately. We will process the membership once we have received the payment.
Youth/child membership for attendees under the age of 18 is 0 €. No separate sign-up is required: instead, add their badge name to your own sign-up form (once/child: if a child is attending with multiple adult members, we only need their badge info once.) Youth/child members must be accompanied by an adult member responsible for them during the convention.

Åcon 14
